Over 14,000 Johnson Controls Sprinklers Installed in Landmark Project
De Groot is a Netherlands-based company, offering electrical, cooling, and fire-safety systems. When the company was chosen to perform one of the largest fire-proofing projects in the Netherlands—the De Rotterdam project—they needed a partner they could trust. The De Rotterdam project consisted of 240 apartments covering 40 floors and required approximately 14,000 individual sprinkler heads.
This case study shows how Johnson Controls provided the support and partnership De Groot needed. Johnson Controls was able to deliver a broad range of solutions in a timely manner, and also provided support and extra help on engineering challenges. This was a major benefit for such a massive project that saw 65 kilometers of pipework installed.
